I am a writer, researcher and consultant with over 16 years experience of writing about ethical and environmental issues.
I specialise in writing, editing and proofing copy for NGOs, charities, social enterprises and the co-operative movement. This could be anything from providing a copy for campaign materials, proofing training guides or interviewing and writing up case studies, to bigger projects such as writing up a final report or editing a whole website. I also contribute to magazines, websites and journals.
As well as writing and communications work, I offer training and facilitation and run workshops and courses. During 2012, I delivered a confidence building and job search skills training course for a group of refugee women in Manchester for the GAP Unit. During Spring 2013, I co-facilitated a course for people with long-term health conditions and in Autumn 2013, I devised and delivered a 9 week ‘Positive Living with illhealth’ course. My training and workshops are as participatory as I can make them with no dry Powerpoint presentations!
